A Monumental Concert at Notre-Dame d’Orient
For its annual summer concert at the Notre-Dame d’Orient monastery (southern Aveyron), the Amis de Notre-Dame d’Orient association once again called on the duo. The newspaper praised « a seasoned duo » and highlighted the church’s remarkable acoustics, where Laurent Jammes and Mélanie Adler « have already delighted » audiences with their talent and interpretations.

Summer Concert at the Notre-Dame d’Orient Monastery
For the eighth edition of this summer tradition, Laurent Jammes and Mélanie Adler joined forces with soprano Camille Balssa (Toulouse’s Théâtre du Capitole) for a programme spanning sacred music and opera: Bach, Mozart, Saint-Saëns and Gershwin. All proceeds from the concert went towards the restoration of the monastery.

An Appointment Turned Tradition
As early as 2018, the duo performed at Notre-Dame d’Orient, this time alongside the Albi-based choir Graines de Pastel, for a programme of sacred and secular music from the 18th century to today. A summer tradition the association has kept alive ever since, year after year.
