The Duo

A pianist trained in London, a trumpeter forged on the stages of the South-West: for ten years, Mélanie Adler and Laurent Jammes have shared one vision of music — generous, exacting, alive.

A Meeting in Toulouse

It all began in Toulouse, ten years ago. She came from concert piano and chamber music, trained at Trinity College of Music, London; he came from classical trumpet and major stages, First Prize winner at the Toulouse Conservatoire. Two different paths, one immediate certainty: the warm timbre of the trumpet and the piano’s palette of colours were made to answer each other.

Since then, the duo has filled concert halls, accompanied weddings and lit up corporate events — always with the same pleasure of playing together, and sharing it.

Our World: The Journey

A concert by the Duo Adler & Jammes crosses centuries and borders. Along the way: Bach and Fauré, Puccini and Piazzolla, Gershwin and Aznavour. This taste for the journey is not a catalogue — it’s a conviction: beautiful music knows no boundary of style, and emotion speaks to every audience.

What Makes Us Unique

  • A rare pairing. The trumpet & piano duo is a sound rarely heard in concert — brilliant, singing, intimate.
  • Two complementary excellences. The delicacy of a pianist trained in London, the virtuosity of a trumpeter with over 400 concerts behind him.
  • Ten years of rapport. A musical understanding you can hear — and see — on stage.
  • A chameleon repertoire. From a cultural-season recital to an elegant cocktail reception, the programme adapts to your venue and your audience.
  • Firmly rooted in the South-West. Based between Toulouse and Montauban, performing throughout Occitania and beyond.
